Analgating my life style with that of
my husband, I shall create a new entity of human existence. In this way I shall
always be living as his true better half.
आज से धर्मपत्नी को अर्द्धागिनी घोषित करते हुए उसके साथ अपने व्यक्तित्व को मिलाकर एक नए जीवन की सृष्टि करता हूं। अपने शरीर के अंगों की तरह धर्मपत्नी का ध्यान रखूंगा।
I shall always consider all friends and members of my
husband’s family as integrated units of an system, maintain cordial
relationship with all of them, serve them open heartedily and behave with them
sweetly.
पति के परिवार के परिजनों को एक ही शरीर के अंग मानकर सभी के साथ शिष्टता बरतूंगी, उदारतापर्वूक सेवा करूंगी, मधुर व्यवहार करूंगी।
Resisting indolence, I shall perform
domestic chores laboriously. In this way, I shall extend appropriate
cooperation to my husband in his progress and betterment of standard of living.
आलस्य को छोड़कर परिश्रमपूर्वक गृह कार्य करूंगी। इस प्रकार पति की प्रगति और जीवन विकास में समुचित योगदान करूंगी।
I shall remain faithfully to my
husband, he always favourable to him respectfully shall never be hypocritical
in my behaviour towards him. I shall also make it a habit to follow his advice
and instructions in better and spirit promptly.
पतिव्रत धर्म का पालन करूंगी, पति के प्रति श्रद्धा भाव बनाए रखकर सदैव उनके अनुकूल रहूंगी । कपट दुख न करूंगी, निर्देशों के अविलम्ब पालन का अभ्यास करूंगी ।
I shall cultivate virtues of selfless
service, cleanliness, pleasantry and sweet conversation on the other hand, I
shall carefully avoid development of vicews and bad habits like jealousy
nagging and grumbling. In this way, I shall always make my presence
pleasurable.
सेवा, स्वच्छता तथा प्रियभाषा का अभ्यास बनाए रखूंगी। ईर्ष्या कुढन आदि दोषों से बचूंगी और सदा प्रसन्नता देने वाली बनकर रहूंगी ।
I shall manage domestic requirements
by keeping the household expenditure to a minimum. I shall avoid extravagance.
In spite of my husband becoming financially or physically weak, I shall
enthusiastic ally continue to follow disciplines of an ideal householder.
मितव्ययी बनकर फिजूलखर्ची से बचूंगी। पति के असमर्थ हो जाने पर भी गृहस्थ के अनुशासन का पालन करूंगी।
Regarding my huaband as a
representative of God, sent as a life long companion, I shall overlook
differences of opinion with him and remain active throughout my life in
endering services due to me. I shall never insult my husband publically or
privately.
नारी के लिए पति देवस्वरूप होता है यह मानकर मतभेद भुलाकर सेवा करते हुए जीवनभर सक्रिय रहूंगी। कभी भी पति का अपमान न करूंगी।
I shall always keep all those persons
contented with my service and humility who are led in high esteem by my husband
and are dear and near to him.
जो पति के पूज्य और श्रद्धा पात्र है उन्हें सेवा द्वारा और विनय द्वारा सदैव सन्तुष्ट रखूंगी।
परिवार के सदस्यों में सुसंस्कारों के विकास तथा उन्हें सद्भावना के सूत्रों में बांधे रहने का कौशल अपने अन्दर विकसित करूंगी।
